Governors
     

    The governing body of Fleet School is made up of parents, school staff, community governors and nominations from Camden Council.

    Governors have a wide range of responsibilities including:

    • Teaching and Support Staff appointments.
    • The school budget.
    • Oversight of school management.
    • Oversight of policies and major decisions concerning general direction of the school.

    The governing body has a sub-committee for 'Curriculum and Standards' and one for 'Finance and Staffing'.

    Link Governors

    Governors are linked in to different areas of the school - from areas such as Safeguarding or Special Educational Needs to subject areas such as maths or wider curriculum. These link governors try to meet periodically with the member/s of staff repsonsible for these areas and will then present a written report at the governors meetings.
